IOTA are a 5 piece Alternative Rock band based in Bristol. Formed in late 2017, IOTA have been playing shows and gaining a following in cities throughout the UK. During their first festival season (2019), they played festivals such as 2000 Trees,The Great Escape Festival and were also scheduled to play Boardmasters. After finishing their debut EP ‘Foxglove’ with Tom Gittins in early 2019, IOTA have ranked highly on streaming platforms, attracting attention from Classic Rock and having a review published in Kerrang magazine. 

 

2020 is an exciting year for the band who begin by recording and releasing their next EP alongside Lee Kiernan (IDLES). Following the release of this EP, a UK tour will take place, promoting the bands new material alongside gaining attention from management and development labels. 

 

IOTA aim to deliver great songs that provide the backdrop to truly emotional stories and spiritually intelligent concepts that connect with all but the shallowest souls. Mixing and twisting the finest elements of the last 50 years of alternative guitar music, but sprinkling their own investigative experimentation liberally on top, then finally wrapping it all in a pretty bow; you can’t fail but get tingles from this deadly combination of beauty and beast. You’ll bang your head yet wipe a tear.
